This is a personal publication written by one person. It covers technology, building and learning, everyday life, and the ways the internet has changed. This page explains how the writing here is made, who pays for it, where AI helps, and what happens when I get something wrong.
What gets published here
Everything appears under my own byline and links back to the About page. The writing splits roughly in two: discovery articles about something I have been working out, and personal essays about living through the change. I plan for about two pieces a month, but that is a target I keep for myself rather than a promise to you.
Personal essays are one person’s experience and point of view. They are not universal advice, and I try not to write them as though they were.
When a factual claim matters to the point I am making, I check it against a primary source or another reliable one before publishing, whenever that is practical.
Nobody is paying for this
As things stand today, this site sells nothing and runs no advertising. There are no sponsored posts, no affiliate links, no paid placements, and no gifts or review units sitting behind anything you read here. When I recommend something, it is because I use it.
That is a description of the site as it is now, not a vow about every year to come. If any of it changes, this page changes first and the disclosure goes on the article itself.
Where AI helps, and where it does not
This site writes about AI, so being vague about using it would be a poor start.
For the writing, AI helps me find topics worth chasing, ask me sharper questions than I would ask myself, organise my own answers into a draft, and then edit and proofread what comes out. It sometimes helps with research. Anything factual that surfaces that way gets checked against a real source before it reaches a published page. The experiences, the opinions, and the judgment calls are mine.
For the pictures, the illustrations here are AI-generated or AI-assisted, made under my direction. I decide the concept, ask for the revisions, choose the result, and approve the final image.
For the code, parts of this theme were written with AI assistance and reviewed by me before they shipped.
I review every AI-assisted result, decide what is published, and take responsibility for it. AI is a tool here, not an author.
When I get something wrong
If I learn that a published article contains a factual error, I will correct it.
If the correction changes a claim, or could change how you understood the piece, I will add a dated note to the article saying what changed, and the article’s modified date will be updated with it. I am not going to quietly rewrite a substantive claim and hope nobody noticed.
Small fixes that do not change the meaning, such as spelling, punctuation, a broken link, or formatting that came out wrong, may be made without a note.
To report a possible error, email hello@dinolatoga.com with the link and the detail that needs checking. It is the same address as everything else on this site, and it reaches me.
If any of this changes
This describes the site as it is today. If the way I write, illustrate, or pay for this place changes, I will rewrite this page and change the date below.
